Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team in a dynamic manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in industrial maintenance. As a Millwright, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of machinery and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety within the facility.
Duties
Install, maintain, and repair industrial machinery and equipment.
Utilize tools such as ammeters, ohmmeters, voltmeters, and other diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot issues.
Perform stick welding and fabrication tasks as necessary to support machinery operations.
Conduct routine inspections of machinery to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
Collaborate with HVAC technicians to ensure proper functioning of heating and cooling systems within the facility.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns related to equipment performance.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
Qualifications
Proven experience as an industrial mechanic or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and voltmeters.
Strong knowledge of welding techniques, particularly stick welding.
Ability to fabricate components as needed for repairs or installations.
Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills with an emphasis on customer service.
Military experience is valued but not required.
