Mitigation Technician SERVPROSERVPRO is seeking a dependable and hardworking Mitigation Technician to join our restoration team out of our Pewaukee, WI office. This position responds to fire, water, mold, and storm damage emergencies at residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate is motivated, customer-focused, and able to work in fast-paced environments while maintaining high-quality service standards.Key Responsibilities:Respond to emergency mitigation and restoration service callsPerform water extraction, demolition, drying, and cleanup servicesSet up and monitor drying equipment including air movers and dehumidifiersAssist with mold remediation and biohazard cleanup as directed and when trainedCommunicate professionally with customers, crew chiefs, and managersAlways keep assigned vehicles, equipment, and jobsites clean and organizedFollow SERVPRO production guidelines and safety proceduresWork standard hours (8am-4pm) Mon-Fri.Qualifications:High school diploma or GED preferredValid driver's license with clean driving recordShows strong initiative and a solid work ethic, with a positive, team-oriented attitudeLearns quickly and efficiently completes tasks assigned by the crew chief or manager1-2 years experience in restoration, construction, or cleaning services preferred but not requiredMust pass a pre-employment background check and drug screenPreferred Certifications:IICRC Water Restoration Technician (WRT)Applied Structural Drying (ASD)Mold Remediation CertificationOSHA Safety TrainingBenefits:Competitive hourly payOvertime and on-call earning opportunitiesHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) retirement plan with company match up to 6%Paid time off and holidaysCompany uniforms providedOngoing training and certification opportunitiesCareer advancement potentialPhysical Requirements:Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, and lifting 50+ poundsAbility to work in confined spaces, at heights, and in environments affected by smoke, water, mold, or debrisAbility to wear respiratory protection (fit test required)Compensation: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
