If you are self-motivated and have superb interpersonal skills, then you'll thrive in this work environment and may be our perfect hero!Starting Wage: $18-22 per hr DOE Benefits Include: Paid Holidays; PTO (1 wk at 6 months; 2.5 wks at 1 year); Health/Dental/Vision; 401k; Paid Training Schedule: M-F, 8-5; On Call Rotation every 4 weeks (which includes nights and weekends).Job DescriptionRespond to service calls as needed to extract water, remove materials affected by water, clean up after fire damages, disinfect/remove materials affected by mold or remediate bio-hazards. Communicate with the crew chief to make sure all customer needs are met. Clean and maintain vehicles, equipment and warehouse per assignment. Ensure that office personnel have the information and documentation needed to process jobs.ResponsibilitiesInventory and load the work vehicle with equipment, products, and supplies needed for each projectMaintain a clean and organized vehicle and clean equipment appearanceSet up equipment for each project then leave job site clean and orderlyPerform production processes following SERVPRO® production guidelines per work orderEnsure clear two-way communication with crew chief, other technicians and office personnelUnderstand and follow safety guidelines on the job site, in the office, and while travelingQualificationsEffective oral and written communicationExperience in cleaning/restoration preferred but not requiredHigh school diploma/GEDIICRC certifications preferred but not requiredAbility to travel locally and out of state as necessaryAbility to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable lawCurrently possess a valid driver's licensePhysical and Work Environment RequirementsAbility to regularly lift 50 pounds and ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistanceExposure to chemicalsWalking and standing for long periods of time, driving, sitting, climbing,Ability to climb ladders and work at ceiling heightsAbility to work in tight spaces (e.g., crawls spaces under buildings)Repetitive pushing/pulling/lifting/carrying objectsAll employees of a SERVPRO® Franchise are hired by, employed by, and under the sole supervision and control of an independently owned and operated SERVPRO® Franchise.
