Part-Time Medical Lab TechnicianAt Columbus Regional Healthcare System we offer professional growth and advancement for every employee. Working at CRHS allows you to have the intimate hospital feel while still being provided with the large healthcare system resources.Job Description: Responsible for procurement of blood and analytical evaluation of blood and other body fluids. All tests must be performed with accuracy and precision. Medical Laboratory Technicians must have working knowledge of laboratory instrumentation including operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. They must perform and record data from quality control procedures. The scope of patient care ranges from neonatal to geriatric patients.Qualifications:Completion of an accredited two year associate degree program in clinical laboratory science.In lieu of associate degree, we will consider a certificate in Medical Laboratory Technology from a regionally accredited college or University and must be certified by ASCP or AMT.Will consider if certification eligible, but must become certified by passing a nationally recognized examination (ex. ASCP or AMT) within 1 year from date of hire.
