We are seeking a motivated and skilled Diesel Mechanic Technician to join our team on the second shift. In this vital role, you will perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on a variety of heavy-duty diesel engines and equipment. *Duties*
* Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, suspension systems, and air brake systems using schematics and mechanical knowledge.
* Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire service, brake repairs, wheel alignments, and shocks & struts replacement.
* Fabricate parts or components as needed using power tools, welding equipment, and hand tools to ensure proper fit and function.
* Operate heavy equipment including excavators, cranes, forklifts, and tractor-trailers safely and efficiently during repairs or testing.
* Use automotive diagnostics tools to identify issues with electrical systems, HVAC units, or other industrial equipment.
* Read and interpret schematics for complex machinery repairs; follow safety protocols during all service procedures.
* Maintain detailed service records, logs, and reports for all work performed to ensure compliance and traceability.
*Qualifications*
* Proven experience as a diesel mechanic or heavy equipment technician with fleet experience preferred.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience as a diesel mechanic and heavy equipment technician required.
* Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy machinery including farm machinery, industrial equipment, and automotive repair.
* Skilled in fabrication, welding, soldering, and the use of power tools for custom repairs or modifications.
* Ability to read schematics accurately and troubleshoot electrical or mechanical issues effectively.
* Experience with vehicle maintenance procedures such as oil changes, greasing, filter replacements and other diesel specific requirements .
* Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about repairs and maintenance needs.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
