nArcosa Aggregates is seeking a Mobile Equipment Operator based out of our Ennis, TX Plant. As a Mobile Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment and working with a team to produce natural aggregates in a mining environment.
nDay to Day:
nnnActively promote safety awareness and continuous improvement through positive recognition
n
nnThe ability to operate one piece of mobile equipment (haul truck, farm tractor, water truck, rubber tire backhoe, front loader, etc.)
n
nnOperate equipment in quarry or production
n
nnComply with all industry safety rules, procedures and applicable government regulations.
n
nnPerform daily pre-shift equipment and workplace inspections to maintain equipment performance
n
nnMaintain strong communications with other plant employees and operators
n
nnPerform other duties or responsibilities as assigned
n
n nAbout you:
nnnPositive, Team-based attitude
n
nnThe ability to stand, stoop, bend, lift, walk, climb stairs, ladders, and catwalks up to 60 feet as required.
n
nnThe ability to work in varied outdoor environments (cold, hot, dry, dusty, rainy)
n
nnHigh school diploma or GED equivalent
n
nnPrompt, regular, and predictable attendance
n
nnOperate at least 2 pieces of Heavy Equipment (haul truck, backhoe, front-end loader, dozer or excavator)
n
n nWorking Conditions: While most equipment has air conditioning, there will be times when other responsibilities may require periods of work in all weather conditions including heat, cold, wet, dry, and dusty.
