nABOUT THE ROLE
nMobile Equipment Operator position is a key positon transporting materials throughout the quarry into piles, trucks or crushers, depending upon production/shipping requirements.
nThis is a night shift position.
nWHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
nnnPrimary operations of haul trucks; water trucks, rock breakersand fuel truck.
n
nnDepending upon quarry operational requirements, operating mobile equipment to include, but not limited to front end loaders (993s, 992s, 980s, etc.), haul trucks, dozers, backhoes, grader, excavators, fuel truck, dredge and skid steer loaders.
n
nnInspect all operating equipment each shift, complete inspection sheets and report problems.
n
nnCorrect malfunctions or irregularities of operating equipment and safety hazards or report to quarry supervisor if corrections cannot be made.
n
nnDo any cleanup that is necessary to have a better and safer working environment.
n
nnTaking accurate and reliable counts of material additions as required.
n
nnMaintain strong communication with quality personnel and make adjustment to material blends as required
n
nnCommunicate all safety, maintenance and production needs.
n
nnOther responsibilities as assigned.

n nWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
nEducation: Ability to read and write
nEducation Preferred: High School diploma or GED
nRequired Work Experience: Experience working in varying weather elements. Quarry experience preferred
nAdditional Requirements:
nnnExperienced with operating/maintaining and troubleshooting heavy equipment.
n
nnAbility to perform rigorous physical activities in all weather conditions.
n
nnSelf-motivated with a solid work ethic.
n
nnHighly dependable, ability to work in fast paced environment.
n
nnAbility to learn plant flow, plant operations and screening.
n
nnHave the willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required.
n
nnPrevious experience in a construction or quarry environment preferred.
n
nnThis job requires shift work, callouts, scheduled and unscheduled overtime, weekend and holidaywork. Employees may have the work schedule adjusted on short notice.
n
nnSuccessful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE") including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit test.
