Security Mobile Patrol OfficerThe Security Mobile Patrol Officer plays a critical role in maintaining the safety and security of the assigned premises in the Sacramento region. This position involves proactive monitoring and response to potential security threats, ensuring compliance with all safety protocols and regulations. The officer will serve as a visible deterrent to unauthorized activities while providing assistance and support to employees, visitors, and emergency responders. This role requires vigilance, quick decision-making, and effective communication to manage incidents and maintain a secure environment. Ultimately, the Security Officer contributes to the overall protection of property, personnel, and information assets, fostering a safe workplace culture.Minimum Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent.Valid BSIS Guard CardBasic knowledge of emergency response procedures and safety regulations.Ability to pass background checks and drug screening.Preferred Qualifications:Certification in CPR and First Aid.Experience with electronic security systems and surveillance equipment.Additional training in conflict resolution or de-escalation techniques.Familiarity with local Sacramento laws and regulations related to security.Responsibilities:Conduct regular patrols, which are by foot and vehicle, of the facility to monitor for suspicious activity or safety hazards.Respond promptly and effectively to alarms, incidents, and emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed.Maintain detailed and accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and security breaches.Enforce company policies and procedures related to access control, visitor management, and workplace safety.Provide assistance and guidance to employees and visitors, ensuring a professional and courteous presence at all times.Skills:The required skills such as vigilance, communication, and emergency response are essential for daily patrols and incident management, ensuring the safety of the premises and personnel. Proficiency in using surveillance technology and access control systems enhances the officer's ability to monitor and secure the environment effectively.
