nPosition Overview:
nAs a Mobile Trailer Technician, you will travel to customer locations to perform trailer inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs. This is a hands-on role ideal for technicians who enjoy problem-solving, working independently, and delivering high-quality service in the field. You'll work on a wide range of trailer systems and equipment while representing one of the most recognized transportation maintenance networks in North America.
nWhat You'll Do
n• Respond to mobile service calls and complete on-site trailer repairs
n• Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot trailer issues
n• Perform preventive maintenance and DOT inspections
n• Repair and replace trailer components including:
nnBrake systems
nSuspension systems
nElectrical wiring and lighting
nFloors, doors, frames, and structural components
nTroubleshooting and repairing liftgate issues
n n• Perform welding and fabrication work as required
n• Complete work orders and maintenance documentation
n• Manage inventory and parts on service vehicle
n• Ensure all work meets safety and compliance standards
n• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment
nEquipment You'll Service:
nDry van trailers | Flatbed trailers | Utility trailers Cargo trailers | Commercial fleet trailers
nWhat We're Looking For:
nnExperience as a Trailer Technician, Trailer Mechanic, Mobile Mechanic, or Fleet Maintenance Technician
nStrong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
nExperience with welding, brake systems, suspension, and electrical repair
nAbility to work independently in a mobile service environment
nStrong attention to detail and commitment to safety
nFamiliarity with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
