Job Details

Salary: $55,000 to $75,000 per year

Job Type: Full Time

Location: Columbus, OH 43229

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable Mobile Service Technician to provide vehicle maintenance and repairs at customer locations using our mobile service van. This role requires independence, excellent customer service skills, and a strong technical background. ASE certifications and B-level technician qualifications are preferred but not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional customer service to promote loyalty and satisfaction

Visit customer workplaces and homes to perform basic services, maintenance, and recall repairs

Effectively manage daily appointments and time to maximize productivity

Complete vehicle repairs and maintenance as outlined on repair orders with attention to cleanliness and efficiency

Communicate regularly with the Mobile Service Coordinator, Parts Department, and Dealer Management to ensure smooth operations and accurate customer updates

Document all work performed accurately on repair orders

Keep up-to-date with Ford technical bulletins and complete required training

Operate and maintain company vehicle responsibly, including driving in various weather conditions

Contribute positively to the team with a proactive and growth-oriented mindset

Job Requirements: Responsibilities Provide an exceptional customer experience and prioritize customer satisfaction

Engage professionally with diverse customers each day

Organize and prepare for daily appointments with strong time management skills

Perform vehicle repairs and maintenance efficiently and cleanly

Maintain clear communication with internal departments for coordination and updates

Accurately document all service work performed

Stay informed on Ford technical bulletins and complete ongoing training

Work effectively in various weather conditions when required

Drive and care for company vehicle responsibly

Demonstrate a proactive attitude and support business growth initiatives

Qualifications

B-level technician qualifications preferred

Detail-oriented and well-organized

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Valid driver's license

ASE or manufacturer certifications preferred, Ford certifications a plus

Previous experience as a service technician preferred

Comfortable using technological devices such as tablets

Physical ability to perform tasks and lift up to 100 pounds
