As part of Marmon Rail (a Berkshire Hathaway company), we operate a growing network of facilities and field service teams across North America, supporting customers in transportation, energy, and manufacturing.We are seeking a Mobile Tank Cleaning Supervisor to lead safe and efficient execution of tank car cleaning operations while developing team capability and driving performance in the field. This is an ideal opportunity for a hands-on leader who thrives in a dynamic industrial environment.What You'll Do:This role leads day-to-day field operations while ensuring the safe, efficient execution of industrial cleaning services and supporting workforce development.On any given day, you will:Lead and oversee industrial cleaning activities at customer sitesEnsure full compliance with all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirementsSupervise operation of cleaning equipment including pumps, diesel engines, thermal fluid heaters, and lifting devicesDrive adherence to safe work practices, including confined space entry and hazardous environmentsCoordinate job execution, ensuring timelines, quality standards, and contractual obligations are metComplete operational documentation including job reports, LEMs, KPIs, billing, and safety formsAct as a liaison between customers and Operations to ensure effective communication and service deliveryTeam Leadership & Development:Support onboarding, training, and mentoring of field employeesCoach team members on safety procedures, equipment operation, and best practicesReinforce a strong safety culture and accountability across the teamSupport continuous improvement of processes and workflows in field operationsWhat Makes This Role Different:Safety-First Culture – Safety is the foundation of all operationsHands-On Leadership – Lead from the field in a high-impact, operational roleGrowth Opportunity – Build leadership capability and advance your careerDynamic Environment – Work across customer sites with specialized equipment and systemsWhat We're Looking For:We're seeking a strong, safety-driven leader with industrial experience and the ability to manage teams in the field.Requirements:High School Diploma or equivalent3–5+ years of industrial cleaning, processing, or related operational experiencePrior supervisory or team leadership experienceStrong knowledge of high-pressure pumps, injection tools, filtration systems, and lifting equipmentValid Class 5 driver's license (Class 1 preferred)Strong communication and leadership skillsAbility to work independently and within a team-focused environmentProficient computer skills for reporting and documentationAbility to pass pre-employment drug & alcohol testingPhysically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing field-based workPreferred:CDL BCertified tradeExperience with automated cleaning systemsExperience working in hazardous or regulated environmentsConfined Space Entry & RescueStandard First AidLeadership for Safety ExcellenceFall ProtectionWork Environment:Field-based role at customer and operational sitesExposure to industrial equipment, noise, and varying environmental conditionsPhysically active role requiring lifting, movement, and equipment operationWork performed in safety-sensitive environmentsSite Specific Details: (To be customized per posting/location)Location: Houston, Texas, Site 281Shift: Primarily First Shift, Monday – Friday 6:00am – 4:30pm.
