nJob Title: Mobile PICC Registered Nurse (PRN) Location: Columbia, MO and Surrounding Areas Schedule: PRN / Per Diem | Flexible Shifts
nAbout the Role
nWe’re hiring skilled and dependable Mobile PICC RNs to perform ultrasound-guided PICC and Midline insertions in hospitals, skilled nursing facilities (SNFs), long-term acute care centers (LTACs), and in-home settings.
nThis flexible, field-based role is ideal for RNs who value independence, clinical impact, and professional respect. You’ll travel across the Columbia region responding to line placement requests as part of a high-performing vascular access team.
nKey Responsibilities
nTravel to clinical facilities or homes to perform vascular access procedures
nIndependently insert PICC, Midline, or peripheral IVs based on clinical assessment
nMaintain strict sterile technique and follow infection control protocols
nAccurately document procedures in EMR systems
nCoordinate with providers, triage nurses, and staff to ensure timely care
nProvide patient education post-insertion and support long-term catheter care
nQualifications
nActive RN license in the state of Missouri
nMinimum 1 year of experience with independent PICC and/or Midline insertions
nProficient with ultrasound-guided vascular access
nStrong documentation, communication, and patient education skills
nReliable transportation and comfortable traveling within the Columbia region
nCapable of working autonomously in mobile/field-based settings
