Job description
Looking for a skilled and responsible X-Ray Technologist to provide mobile X-Ray and EKG services to nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other locations. In this role, you’ll be responsible for performing and processing X-Rays using portable digital radiography equipment, along with EKGs as needed. This position involves working independently while maintaining strong communication with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform and process X-rays using portable digital radiography (DR) or computed radiography (CR) equipment, and transmit them to Radiologists for interpretation.
Safely transport and unload portable X-ray equipment, and perform exams as ordered by physicians at healthcare facilities.
Conduct EKGs as needed and submit them for interpretation by Cardiologists.
Scan and submit paperwork and billing documents daily, adhering to company protocols.
Maintain regular communication with dispatch, management, and other team members.
Exhibit professionalism when interacting with peers, supervisors, and clients.
Ensure the proper upkeep and maintenance of the vehicle and radiography equipment.
