Overview : Mohs Technician
Position Highlights:
Dermatology
Full-Time; 40 hours/week
Hours: Monday-Friday hours varying between 7:00am-4:00pm; alternating Wednesdays and Fridays off
Location: Naperville - City Gate clinic
Travel: Travel to other Dermatology sites for coverage if needed
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist Physician/Mohs Micrographic Surgeon during Mohs procedures
Assist with maintaining Mohs laboratory
Assure efficient patient flow through the site
MINIMUM EDUCATIONAND EXPERIENCE:
CPR certified
High School Diploma or GED
Graduate of an accredited Medical Assist or Paramedic Program required or equivalent gained through experience.
2 years of experience with outpatient surgical procedures, Mohs preferred.
Dermatology or Surgical Center experience required.
Experience with using an Electronic Medical Record.
Knowledge of medical terminology
Knowledge and ability to identify surgical instruments
The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $ with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
