Production Operators (Day Shift)The STS Group is a globally leading supplier of components and systems for the commercial vehicle and automotive industries headquartered in France. The Adler Pelzer Group, a global Tier 1 supplier recently acquired STS group to expand its target market in the USA. STS is pioneering operations of Class A surface components for the heavy trucks in the USA. We are seeking experienced Production Operators (day shift) for the manufacturing processes of the brand new STS start up in Salem, Virginia - Roanoke, VA area. Forklift experience is a plus.Key Responsibilities:Perform mold changes safely and efficientlyOperate overhead crane and mold transfer cartClean and maintain molds, including wiping tools and cleaning bolstersMaintain a clean and organized work areaFollow all safety procedures and company policies at all timesPerform general operator duties as needed during downtimeQualifications & Expectations:Strong attendance record is requiredHigh level of attention to detailProven ability to work safely in a manufacturing environmentStrong work ethic and willingness to support team needsAbility to follow instructions and complete tasks thoroughlyAdditional Information: This position requires a safety-first mindset, dependability, and the ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness.Skills: Advanced CollaborationBehaviors: Team Player, Enthusiastic, DedicatedMotivations: Growth Opportunities, Job Security, Ability to Make an ImpactEducation: High School or better.Experience: 3 years: Previous manufacturing experience
