Mold Line SupervisorAt Alcoa, you will become an essential part of our purpose: to turn raw potential into real progress. This is an opportunity for a hands-on leader who can build trust, communicate effectively, and drive reliable execution in a heavy industrial, union environment.You will lead approximately 16 employees across the mold line operation at Warrick Operations as part of a four-supervisor team. Working a rotating DuPont schedule, you will be visible on the floor across two production lines and the lab, providing day-to-day direction, resolving issues, and reinforcing safe and consistent work practices. You will partner with production, maintenance, planning, quality, and engineering teams to support operational performance and continuous improvement.You will lead the safety and health performance of your crew by identifying and reducing risk, reinforcing safe work procedures, addressing at-risk behaviors, and taking accountability for environmental, health, and safety practices.You will set, communicate, and execute daily priorities that align the mold line team with department, location, and Warrick Operations objectives.You will coach, counsel, and engage employees on standard operating practices and performance expectations, building commitment and resolving workplace concerns professionally in a union environment.You will coordinate and lead troubleshooting with production, maintenance, planning, quality, and engineering partners to restore performance and address operational issues.You will develop and implement practical process and work-practice improvements that strengthen productivity, quality, reliability, and consistent execution.You will complete the administrative responsibilities of frontline leadership while maintaining a strong floor presence across the operating area.High school diploma or equivalent.At least two years of supervisory experience in a heavy industrial or comparable manufacturing environment, with the ability to lead hourly employees and manage day-to-day execution.Strong safety orientation and the judgment to recognize risk, reinforce procedures, and create an environment where employees speak up and work safely.Clear communication, conflict-resolution, and employee-engagement skills, including the ability to gain buy-in, set expectations, and work effectively with all levels of the organization.Strong problem-solving, organizational, and continuous-improvement skills, with the initiative to challenge current practices and implement practical change.Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office, and the ability to work a rotating DuPont schedule.Ability to work a rotating DuPont schedule.Ability to maintain an active floor presence, including frequent standing and walking between two production lines and the lab throughout the shift.Competitive compensation packages, including pay-for-performance variable pay, recognition and rewards programs.401(k), employer match up to 6%, additional employer retirement income contribution (no vesting period)Healthcare benefits: medical, Rx, dental, vision, flexible spending account, health savings account (generous employer contribution), life and accident insuranceWork-life balance programs: flexible work scheduling, hybrid/remote workingPaid time off: 15 vacation days prorated in the 1st year based on hire date, 10 holidays including 1 flexible holiday of your choice, 7 illness days, Care for Family leave up to 40 days, up to 5 bereavement days, maximum of 30 jury duty days, and up to 10 days annual training for military leaveThis benefit information applies to US based applicants only.
