Mold Maker / Tool MakerPay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour (Based on Experience)Full-Time | 1st Shift | Temp-to-HireMasterson Staffing is seeking an experienced Mold Maker / Tool Maker for a client in Elgin, IL. This position is responsible for building, repairing, maintaining, and troubleshooting injection molds to support production operations and ensure high-quality output.Responsibilities:Repair, maintain, and troubleshoot injection molds and toolingPerform preventative maintenance on molds and related equipmentDisassemble, inspect, clean, and reassemble moldsOperate manual machine shop equipment, including mills, grinders, lathes, and drill pressesModify tooling as needed to improve performance and qualityDiagnose mold-related issues and implement corrective actionsRead and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specificationsWork closely with production and engineering teams to support manufacturing goalsMaintain a safe and organized work areaQualifications:Previous experience as a Mold Maker, Tool Maker, Mold Technician, or similar roleStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsAbility to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawingsExperience with precision measuring instruments and machine shop equipmentKnowledge of injection molding processes preferredStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityAbility to work independently and prioritize tasksPhysical Requirements:Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as neededAbility to stand, bend, and move throughout the shiftComfortable working in a manufacturing environmentWhat We Offer:Competitive pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hourWeekly pay1st shift scheduleTemp-to-hire opportunityStable work environmentOpportunity to grow with a respected manufacturing companyIf you have mold-making or tool-making experience and are looking for a long-term opportunity with a growing company, we encourage you to apply today.
