Job description
Job TitlePerform multiple processes to produce weather-strip for the Automotive Industry by performing the following duties.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesPerforms one or more of the following operations continually or on a rotating basis:Competent in EPDM W/S MoldingMust maintain minimum attainment of 85% averageOperate multiple presses simultaneously and sequentially.Insert correct profile into the mold adding inserts and/or clips as required by the specific product work instruction.Inspect quality as identified by the specific product work instruction.Load appropriate number of processed parts on rack system.Complete production paperwork.Operate continuous drilling machines.Load materials as identified in the specific product work instruction.Follow "work instructions" and perform the operation as identified.Responsible for conformity to product requirements and has the authority to stop production to correct quality problems.Regular attendance and adherence to the "NISCO Attendance Policy" including the ability and availability to work a minimum of eight (8) hours per day, forty (40) hours a week, or such other hours per day or hours per week (over-time) as determined necessary or desired to meet business needs. Must be committed to a high standard of safety and be willing and able to comply with all safety laws and NISCO policies and rules.QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or associates of organization.Mathematical SkillsAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.Physical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to stand for up to 8 hours; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear. The associate frequently is required to walk and reach with hands and arms. The associate must frequently lift and/or move up to 10-35 pounds. Specific vision abilities may require color vision depending on job assignment.
