We want you to view your time at Westfall as an investment to your future.We are currently seeking a 1st Shift Polisher with the below qualifications:Professional AttributesNeat, organized and have the desire to chase perfection even when it is not obtainableMeet scheduled hours and dates of all tasks, with the goal of completing tasks ahead of scheduleUtilize machinery & prioritize equipment usage to obtain the quickest lead timesMaximize efficiency by working to minimize setup and run times in all machinesMaintain an attitude of Continuous Improvement. Make suggestions for improvementsOperate and demonstrate ability on all polishing equipment and techniquesAssure that the quality of work is to the satisfaction of the internal customer (Tool makers) & Westfall Engineering guidelinesInspect and check component tolerancesUtilize print as necessary to polish parts per finish requirements and within toleranceAdjust schedule as needed within the department to maximize output and reduce lead times under the direction of the Tooling ManagerAdditional duties as assignedDesired Skills and ExperienceTwo-year Technical degree preferred or experience as a close tolerance mold polisher, preferredStrong mechanical aptitudeAbility to operate polishing equipment.
