Pay: Starting at $30/hr.+ Based on Experience
Shift: 1st Shift Hours: Will be working 10-12hr shifts, with a start time of 3am
We are hiring a skilled Mold, Tool, & Die Maker to join our client's Tool Room team on a direct-hire basis. This role involves precision work, close-tolerance machining, mold/die repair, and hands-on craftsmanship in a well-equipped shop.
Key Responsibilities: Construct, alter, and repair a variety of molds, dies, tools, jigs, and fixtures.
Work to close tolerances to fit, align, and assemble precision components.
Perform ordinary tool room machining operations using manual equipment.
Work from prints, sketches, samples, orders, demonstrations, and instructions to complete machining and assembly tasks.
Disassemble molds and dies, inspect damaged components, and perform indicated repairs.
Assist with complex or difficult work, including heliarc welding (TIG).
Reassemble molds/dies and verify proper fit and alignment.
Report equipment malfunctions, material discrepancies, or unusual conditions.
Maintain accurate paperwork and keep work area clean and organized.
Under limited supervision, operate manual machine tools; under close supervision, set up and operate CNC machines.
Use precision measuring tools, gauges, machinist hand tools, and material-handling equipment.
Perform additional qualified tasks as needed to support production.
Follow all safety rules and best practices.

Strong ability to read and interpret detailed prints and tooling instructions.
Skilled with manual machining equipment; basic CNC setup/operation experience preferred.
Experience with close-tolerance fitting and assembly.
Mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
