Job description

Molding Machine OperatorTo operate an Injection Molding machine to produce a diversified line of products. Operate injection molding machine to produce a diversified line of molded products from a variety of pre-mixed standard plastic components. Remove molded part from machine and visually inspect molded part for defects. Perform various manual operations to finished product. May operate more than one machine as operating cycle permits. Position may require working on alternate shifts and overtime will be available.High school diploma or GED; no prior experience required. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other employees of the organization. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand. The employee frequently is required to walk; use hands and fingers to handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and depth perception.
