Molding Operator / Injection Mold Operator 1st ShiftCHICOPEE, MA Immediately Temporary/ContractVolt is immediately hiring for Molding Operator / Injection Mold Operator in Chicopee, MA 01022. As a Molding Operator / Injection Mold Operator, you will:Help manufacture precision plastic microplates used in laboratories around the world.Operate and monitor injection molding machines and production equipmentFollow documented manufacturing procedures and work instructionsInspect molded components to ensure quality and specification requirements are metRecord production data, scrap, machine downtime, and adjustmentsUse measuring tools and inspection equipment accuratelyIdentify and report quality issues or non-conforming products to supervisionSegregate and properly label defective materialsMaintain continuous machine coverage and production flowComplete production documentation and reporting formsFollow ISO standards, quality procedures, and safety guidelinesMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentAdhere to company policies, dress code requirements, and housekeeping standardsThis is a full time, contract opportunity.Shift: 1st Shift - 7:00 AM to 3:30 PMThe ideal candidate will have:High School Diploma or GEDPrevious experience as an Injection Mold Operator, Machine Operator, Production Operator, Manufacturing Associate, Molding Technician, or similar manufacturing roleExperience operating production equipment that manufactures finished productsAbility to follow written procedures, work instructions, and quality standardsStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityReliable work history and attendance recordGood verbal and written communication skillsStrong organizational and teamwork skillsPreferred Qualifications:Plastic injection molding experienceExperience documenting production electronicallyBilingual English/Spanish skills are a plusPay Rate: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour.*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
