Monitor PositionBASIS is seeking a Monitor to join our bright, passionate team in the Dallas Metro area!The role of the Monitor is to monitor student activities, such as lunches, recesses, parking duty, and "Early Bird" and "Late Bird" school programs.Position Qualifications:Valid Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card and/or satisfactory applicable state background checkHigh school diploma or higherExperience in a school or childcare environment preferred.Essential Functions:Monitor students to ensure safetyOversee students' behavior during lunches, recesses, passing periods, and before and after schoolReport any unruly behavior to school managementInform supervisor of any damages to school propertyRespond to emergency situations, such as injuries or food allergies, with urgencyExercise sound judgement in carrying out dutiesAssist in front office support, as applicableMaintain regular, full, predictable attendanceSupervise individual students and/or groups of students during structured and unstructured timesOther duties as assignedBenefits and Salary:Salary for this position is competitive and dependent on education and experienceBASIS Ed offers a comprehensive benefits package, including but not limited to:Employer paid medical and dental insuranceVision insurancePTOAbility to add dependents401k with partial match that grows over timeEmployee Assistance ProgramChildcare Savings Opportunity (KinderCare tuition discount)About BASIS Ed Texas:BASIS Texas Charter Schools embrace subject expertise and passion in the classroom!Our teachers are part of one of the nation's most collaborative and professional learning communities.
