Monitor Position at BASIS RichardsonBASIS Richardson is seeking a Monitor to join our bright, passionate team!The role of the Monitor is to monitor student activities, such as lunches, recesses, parking duty, and "Early Bird" and "Late Bird" school programs.Position QualificationsValid Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card and/or satisfactory applicable state background checkHigh school diploma or higherExperience in a school or childcare environment preferred.Essential FunctionsMonitor students to ensure safetyOversee students' behavior during lunches, recesses, passing periods, and before and after schoolReport any unruly behavior to school managementInform supervisor of any damages to school propertyRespond to emergency situations, such as injuries or food allergies, with urgencyExercise sound judgement in carrying out dutiesAssist in front office support, as applicableMaintain regular, full, predictable attendanceSupervise individual students and/or groups of students during structured and unstructured timesOther duties as assignedBenefits and Salary:Salary for this position is competitive and dependent on education and experienceBASIS Ed offers a comprehensive benefits package, including but not limited to:Employer paid medical and dental insuranceVision insurancePTOAbility to add dependents401k with partial match that grows over timeEmployee Assistance ProgramChildcare Savings Opportunity (KinderCare tuition discount)Reasonable Accommodations Statement To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
