HCA Healthcare has committed up to $300 million in programs to support our incredible team members over the course of three years.Job Summary and QualificationsThe essential functions of the Monitor Tech position include:Monitor, interpret and report data for adolescent, adult and geriatric patients from telemetry monitor systemsInterpret and recognize rhythms with the potential to alter the patient's physiology and report to licensed staff immediatelyDocument rhythm status per routine, for all changes, and upon request during emergent patient interventionsReport changes in pulse oximetry data to appropriate licensed personnelFollow procedure for application functions as directed by the licensed staffMaintain stock supplies for monitoring areaMaintain a safe work environmentWhat qualifications you will need:High School Graduate / GEDCertified as a Monitor Tech by a recognized program preferred1+ year experienceBenefitsMedical City McKinney, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues. We are a 285+ bed acute care hospital. We serve the residents of McKinney and northern Collin County. Our main campus is a Level III Trauma Center. We provide emergency services at our main campus and at Medical City ER Stonebridge. We have cardiovascular and neurological services. We offer general surgery, orthopedics and women's services. Additionally, a Level II neonatal intensive care unit and behavioral health services. Medical City McKinney is a Primary Stroke Center. We are also a stroke rehabilitation center.
