Monitor Technician SupervisorUnder the direction of the Clinical Nurse Manager of 3 Inter Mediate Care Unit, the Monitor Technician Supervisor assumes supervisory responsibility for the daily operations, equipment, personnel, and other related considerations of the Monitor Room.CarolinaEast Health System is committed to providing high quality, compassionate care across the Coastal Carolina region. Additionally, we are honored to be named one of Americas Best-In-State Hospitals by Newsweek, among numerous other prestigious accolades.Minimum Requirements:High school graduation or equivalency requiredSuccessful completion of an approved dysrhythmia course or related experienceKnowledge of medical terminology desiredAt least five (5) years' experience as a Monitor Technician.The Monitor Technician Supervisor must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his/her assigned unit. The Monitor Technician Supervisor must demonstrate an understanding of the principles of growth and development over the life span. Additionally, the Monitor Technician Supervisor possesses the ability to assess data and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify the unit’s requirements.
