Job description
Prep CookWe are seeking a skilled and organized Prep Cook to join our team and assist with the preparation of high-quality food for our guests. The Prep Cook will be responsible for preparing ingredients and assisting with the production of menu items, as well as maintaining a clean and organized work area. The successful candidate will have strong attention to detail and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:Prepare ingredients for menu items, including chopping vegetables, preparing food for the evening shift and completing salad barAssist with the production of menu items, including following recipes and adhering to food safety standardsMaintain a clean and organized work area, including washing dishes and utensils, sanitizing surfaces, and properly storing food itemsAdhere to food safety standards and guidelines, including properly handling and storing foodAssist with inventory management and organization of incoming deliveriesOther duties as assignedQualifications:Prefer 1 year of experience as a prep cook or in a similar role but willing to train the correct candidateStrong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accuratelyAbility to multitask and handle a high-volume workloadAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentBasic knowledge of food safety standards and guidelinesBasic math skillsPerks:Flexible scheduling availableEmployee meal privilegesOpportunity for career advancement in the companyPositive and supportive work environmentThis is a morning position with hours being slightly flexible, 10:00am-2:00pm (or until tasks are completed)We are open Tuesday to Sunday ideal candidate will have weekday and weekend availability
