TEKsystems is currently searching for career-driven candidates interested in a Mortgage Funder opportunity with a Fortune 100 Financial Institution in the Winchester, VA area!
Start Date: 10/26/2026
Pay: 19.35/Hourly
Training Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9am-5:30pm EST
Shift After Training: 10:30am-7:00pm EST
Working Environment: Onsite in Winchester, VA (3 Days per week On-site)
Job Description:
To provide operational support to Mortgage Closers in order to expedite the funding process.
Assist in the closing of mortgage loans, completing the funding process for closing transactions and ensuring loans are reviewed to minimize the risk of post-settlement errors.
Responsible for accurately disbursing funds in accordance to lender closing instructions and signed closing statement.
Ensure accuracy of documents and balancing funds, requesting corrections or required documents as needed.
Provide detailed review of closing related documentation for compliance prior to approving the release of funds and submitting to Post Closing.
Conduct proactive and effective pipeline management in accordance with performance standard expectations.
Qualifications: High School Diploma Required
Effective skill maintaining accuracy with attention to detail and meeting deadlines
Basic word processing and spreadsheet software skills
Knowledge of mortgage closing and related documents
Knowledge of mortgage closing procedures and practices

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Winchester, VA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.35 - $19.35/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
