Job description
JCW Search is partnering with a well-established regional bank in Connecticut to hire a Mortgage Loan Processor for its residential lending team. The bank has strong community roots and a growing mortgage platform.
What you'll do:
Manage a pipeline of residential mortgage loans from application through closing
Collect, review, and verify borrower documentation (income, assets, credit, appraisal, title)
Prepare complete files for underwriting and clear conditions efficiently
Coordinate with loan officers, underwriters, closers, and borrowers to keep loans on schedule
Ensure files meet agency, investor, and regulatory requirements (TRID, RESPA)
What we're looking for:
2+ years of residential mortgage processing experience, ideally in a bank or credit union setting
Working knowledge of conventional, jumbo, and portfolio loan products
Familiarity with LOS platforms (e.g., Encompass) and DU/LP
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple files with tight deadlines
Strong communication skills and a service-first mindset
