At Equity Bank we'll help you invest in your community through volunteer opportunities which align with our company initiatives and core values.Responsibilities and ExpectationsMortgage ProcessorEnsure loans are processed and closed in accordance with established agency and investor guidelines, policies, procedures, and clear to close conditionsOrder property abstract/title, survey (if appl), appraisals, and other verifications as requiredReview documents for accuracy and completeness prior to submitting to underwritingManage pipeline daily to ensure deadlines are metInteract with the Lenders to resolve file discrepancies and, as necessary, request documentationAct as liaison with borrowers, customers, other bank employees, outside entities to facilitate loan processesCoordinate the smooth process of the loan closing with the title company and lender to ensure all loans are processed in a timely mannerComplete Processing/Closing Compliance checklist on all loans and upload to loan fileDisburse loan funds by initiating wire amount through bank wire program or disburse by check if neededAssist in resolution of investor and/or Quality Control requestsPerform all duties in accordance with Equity Bank mortgage standardsStore all loan documents in Loan Operating System (LOS) as receivedMortgage Loan ComplianceReview all documents for accuracyEnsure loans are in accordance with state and federal regulations such as, but not limited to, RESPA, HMDA and Fair Lending PracticesStay up to date on the changing rules and regulations pertaining to both private and government-insured mortgagesWork in accordance to published department service level agreementBenchmark of less than 5% error ratio as documented through Quality Control reports, Internal Audits, External Audits and Regulatory ExaminationsEmployee is responsible for understanding and following the applicable laws and regulations for their job responsibilities including but not limited to Equity Bank Business Ethic and Conduct policy, Bank Secrecy Act, Information security, and Suspicious Activity reporting requirementsPerform other duties as assigned, required, or requestedRequired Skills & EducationWorking knowledge of Encompass Loan Operating System (LOS) is a plus1-2 years Loan Processing/Closing experience (FHA, VA, USDA, and Conventional) with strong agency guideline knowledgeTRID experienceAbility to make decisions in a time sensitive mannerComputer skills, Microsoft OfficeExcellent interpersonal skills and professional mannerKnowledge of compliance and disclosure requirementsFind your future at Equity Bank!
