Job Title: Motion Graphics & Multimedia Designer
Location: Remote, EST hours
Position Type: Contract, full-time hours

We are seeking a talented and versatile Motion Graphics / Multimedia Designer to help us translate complex financial concepts into engaging, user-friendly visual content that educates, inspires, and drives positive community impact.
Position Overview
As our Motion Graphics / Multimedia Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our visual brand story across digital, social, print, and interactive media. You will work on a diverse array of projects ranging from brand marketing campaigns and promotional videos to educational explainer guides, embedded GIFs, click-through interactive guides, and print collateral like postcards.
The ideal candidate is a visual storyteller who excels at motion design, video editing, and graphic design, with a knack for making financial education intuitive, approachable, and engaging.
Key Responsibilities
Motion Graphics & Animation:
Design and produce high-quality 2D/3D motion graphics, animated logos, kinetic typography, and visual assets for digital marketing and educational content.
Create animated UI elements, micro-interactions, and embedded GIFs for our website, mobile app, and email marketing campaigns.
Video Production & Editing:
Edit and produce compelling promotional videos, social media clips, customer testimonials, and internal communications.
Oversee basic video production workflows, including visual storytelling, color grading, and asset management.
Educational & Interactive Content Design:
Concept and design visual Explainer Guides and step-by-step Click-Through Guides that simplify complex financial products (e.g., budgeting, loans, savings programs).
Develop visual assets for digital onboarding and financial literacy programs.
Print & Marketing Design (Multimedia):
Design traditional print and direct-mail collateral, such as postcards, flyers, brochures, and event signage, ensuring brand consistency across print and digital mediums.
Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm creative concepts for integrated marketing campaigns.
Qualifications & Skills Experience:
3 years of professional experience in motion graphics, video production, and multimedia design (agency, in-house, or non-profit background preferred).
A strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in motion graphics, video editing, digital assets (GIFs/interactive guides), and print design.
Technical Proficiency:
Mastery of Adobe Creative Cloud (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
Experience creating interactive click-through guides or prototypes using tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or web-based interactive platforms
Optimization of GIF and animation assets for web and email integration
