Job description
California Highway Patrol (CHP) is seeking a Motor Carrier Specialist II to lead field inspections and oversee MCS‑Is within the Southern Division. You will supervise staff, coordinate training, review reports, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
Responsibilities include assigning geographic areas, testifying in proceedings, and liaising with law enforcement and regulatory agencies. A CDL, background checks, and drug screening are required.
