Job description
Role Overview
The Full-time MRI Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily MRI, on adult and pediatric patients to support diagnosis and treatment.
Responsibilities
Prepare patients and equipment for procedures, perform studies independently, including on-call, portable exams, and other site-specific tasks.
Qualifications
Requires an associate or trade school education, with no prior experience necessary. Must hold licenses such as RTR, CT, MR, or other specified certifications; Illinois IEMA license (excluding MRI).
Skills & Preferences
Willingness to cross-train in MRI; experience less than 2 years preferred; CPR and intravenous therapy certifications are a plus.
Additional Information
Role includes a sign-on bonus, requires a 12-hour shift schedule, and participation in call rotations.
