Pay Range:$32.58 - $48.87A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.HSHS St. Mary's Decatur Hospital is seeking a MRI Technologist to join our Imaging team.The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care while following physician orders, accurately positioning patients, preparing and operating MRI equipment, and ensuring quality images are obtained for interpretation.New graduates are encouraged to apply. Candidates at the MRI Technologist I and MRI Technologist II levels will be considered. Placement and compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and meeting position requirements.Position Specifics:o Department: MRIo Core Function: Imagingo Schedule: Full time, 36rs/wkly, evening shifts - 4 - 9 hours shifts Monday to Friday 1030am - 8pm and every third weekend 730am - 5pm.o Facility: St. Mary's Hospitalo Location: Decatur, ILo Sign on Bonus: $20,000o Compensation: Competitive pay that aligns with your experience, qualifications, and includes the applicable weekend program incentive.MRI Tech IPay Range: $32.58 - $40.73 - $48.87MRI Tech IIPay Range: $34.21 - $42.76 - $51.31For more information regarding this position, please contact Lauren Aman at QualificationsAssociates degree in allied health, applied/radiologic science or certificate program is required.Experience Qualifications1 year of Radiology Technology experience preferred.Certifications, Licenses and RegistrationsOne of the following is required:Certification or registry eligible as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)) or a Registered Technologist in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (R.T.(MR)) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).Certification or registry eligible as a Registered Technologist by the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).Certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire/transfer.If certified through ARRT, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) certification/registry is preferred.Basic Life Support (BLS) required.Job DescriptionScheduled Weekly Hours:36Throughout communities in Illinois and Wisconsin, 13 hospitals, numerous community-based health centers and clinics, our 13,000+ colleagues have built a culture based on our solid core values of respect, care, competence, and joy.
