Job description
This position is for a PRN MRI Technologist responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, including MRI exams, on adult and pediatric patients. Key duties include patient preparation, equipment setup, conducting imaging studies independently or in on-call situations, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
Qualifications & Skills:
Associate degree or higher in a related field
Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)) and/or MR
Preferred experience of 2+ years in advanced imaging modalities like MRI, CT, or interventional radiology
Licenses such as IEMA (Illinois), RCIS, RCES, or ARRT certifications preferred
Additional certifications like CPR and IV therapy are a plus
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare patients and equipment for imaging procedures
Perform exams independently, including portable and on-call procedures
Assist in workflow, patient care, and MRI safety screenings
