Role Summary
The MRI Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures, including advanced modalities such as MRI, on adult and pediatric patients to support diagnosis and treatment. This PRN position involves independently preparing patients and equipment, conducting studies, and responding to urgent requests within the MRI department. The role emphasizes delivering high-quality, compassionate imaging services promptly to ensure accurate results for physicians.
Qualifications & Skills
Associate or Trade School education
Licenses & Certifications: IEMA (Illinois only), RTR, CT, MR, M, BMD, CI, VI, RCIS, RCES
Preferred: 2+ years of experience, CPR, Intravenous Therapy certification
No supervisory experience required
Key Responsibilities
Preparing patients and imaging equipment
Performing imaging studies independently, including portable and on-call exams
Ensuring quality control and safety standards
