Role Overview
This position is for a PRN MRI Technologist responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, including MRI exams, on adult and pediatric patients. The role involves patient preparation, equipment setup, safety screenings, and ensuring quality control, often working independently or in on-call situations.

This position is for a PRN MRI Technologist responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, including MRI exams, on adult and pediatric patients. The role involves patient preparation, equipment setup, safety screenings, and ensuring quality control, often working independently or in on-call situations.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare patients and equipment for imaging procedures.
Perform MRI studies and assist with workflow of the department.
Help ensure safety protocols are followed and exams are completed accurately.
Qualifications And Skills
Associate degree or higher in a related field.
Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)) and/or MRI.
Preferred experience includes two or more years in radiologic or imaging modalities, including MRI, CT, or general radiology.
Licenses such as IEMA (excluding MRI), CPR, and IV Therapy certifications are advantageous.
Additional Information
Must be ARRT certified or equivalent.
Strong knowledge of MRI safety, patient care, and imaging techniques.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.
