Job description
Seeking an MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures with a focus on MRI, potentially cross‑training in other modalities if registered as R.T.(R). The role involves preparing patients and equipment, conducting studies independently and in on‑call situations, and ensuring quality control.
Responsibilities include:
Performing diagnostic imaging procedures on adult and pediatric patients.
Preparing patients and equipment for exams.
Conducting studies independently, including portable and on‑call exams.
Qualifications and Skills:
Associate or Trade School education.
No prior experience required; preferred experience is 2+ years.
Licenses & Certifications: IEMA (excluding MRI), RTR, CT, MR, M, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, RCES.
Preferred certifications: Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, Intravenous Therapy.
Additional Requirements:
Ability to work 12‑hour shifts, including call and holiday rotations.
Must be willing to cross‑train in MRI if registered.
