Job Summary
Our imaging teams are a committed, caring group of professionals. We are currently seeking a Florida‑licensed MRI Technologist to provide magnetic resonance imaging services to patients. This is a full‑time position requiring weekend availability.
Responsibilities
Demonstrate a strong and thorough knowledge of all MRI and associated equipment and obtain high‑quality MR images, ensuring only optimal films are submitted for interpretation
Facilitate the MRI procedure by selecting proper technical factors/techniques to accommodate all patients and selecting, preparing and administering the appropriate contrast material
Prepare, transfer and position patients as needed, ensuring modesty and safely utilizing auxiliary equipment and/or devices indicated
Document all pertinent clinical information prior to exam, obtain informed consent, and complete all required fields within MEDITECH accurately and on time
Maintain proactive and effective communication with patient and other caregiver colleagues, including the radiologist
Check the operation of the equipment, maintain cleanliness of table/equipment to prevent cross‑contamination of contagious diseases and keep room stocked with necessary supplies
Accept on‑call and call‑back responsibilities as needed to provide optimum patient care
Qualifications
2‑year/Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology
Valid ARRT (MR) credential
Clear/active State of Florida Department of Health licensure
2 years of diagnostic x‑ray experience preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Strong organizational, verbal, interpersonal, customer‑relations, mathematical, analytical, grammatical/spelling, read/comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, computer, and clerical skills
