Role Overview
Performs diagnostic imaging procedures using advanced modalities such as MRI, CT, Mammography, and others on adult and pediatric patients for diagnosis and treatment. Responsible for preparing patients and equipment, executing studies independently, and ensuring quality control. The role may include on-call and portable exams, with call and holiday rotation requirements. Candidates should have an associate degree or trade school training and may hold MRI registry upon hire. Preferred qualifications include at least 2 years of experience, applicable licenses/certifications (e.g., RTR, CT, MR), and CPR/IV therapy certifications.
Responsibilities
Prepare patients and equipment for procedures.
Perform imaging studies independently and in various settings as required.
Qualifications & Skills
Education: Associate degree or equivalent.
Experience: No experience required; 2+ years preferred.
Licenses & Certifications: IEMA (Illinois), RTR, CT, MR, and others; CPR and IV therapy preferred.
