Job description

FSN is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated MRI Technologist to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will conduct high-quality magnetic resonance imaging procedures with a focus on patient safety, comfort, and adherence to all regulatory standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, patient-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform a wide range of MRI procedures utilizing established protocols to ensure diagnostic accuracy.

Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, prioritizing their comfort and safety throughout.

Conduct thorough patient screening for MRI safety, including assessing for implants or contraindications.

Operate MRI equipment, adjusting technical parameters to achieve optimal image quality.

Monitor patients during procedures and respond promptly to any adverse reactions or emergencies.

Administer contrast media in accordance with protocols and physician instructions, ensuring safety and accuracy.

Collaborate effectively with radiologists and healthcare team members to facilitate precise diagnosis.

Maintain detailed and accurate patient records and documentation within EMR/PACS systems.

Follow all safety guidelines, infection control policies, and regulatory requirements diligently.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.

ARRT certification (RT) with MRI specialization (ARRT-MR) or ARMRIT certification.

Minimum of 2 years of hospital-based MRI experience.

Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.

Strong knowledge of MRI safety standards, protocols, and best practices.

Shift & Schedule

Night shift, 3 days per week (12-hour shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM).
