Quality Control (QC) SupervisorWe are seeking an experienced Quality Control (QC) Supervisor to join a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment in Northern Cincinnati, Ohio, located less than 30 minutes from Dayton and/or Northern Kentucky.This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in an empowered environment with a broad scope of authority. The QC Supervisor will oversee the Quality Control team and ensure quality standards, inspection procedures, documentation, safety requirements, and regulatory requirements are consistently maintained.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise QC team members and ensure compliance with established quality standards.Ensure accuracy and efficiency of quality control records, testing, and inspection documentation.Monitor and maintain proper inspection, maintenance, and quality records.Ensure proper operation and maintenance of calibrated tooling and inspection equipment.Ensure departmental compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.Maintain a safe working environment for all employees within the department.Perform final/perfection reviews and sign off for "Return to Service" of repaired components and hardware.Develop and revise quality plans as required.Analyze customer requirements and ensure applicable quality standards are met.Operate a CMM and support dimensional inspection activities.Train and mentor QC staff members on inspection procedures and quality requirements.Maintain a strong understanding of applicable FAA regulations.Assist the department manager with quality-related projects as needed.Use Microsoft Word and Excel for documentation, reporting, and recordkeeping.Perform inspections using gages, micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring equipment.Qualifications & Requirements5+ years of Quality Control experience in a manufacturing environment.Aerospace QC experience preferred.Previous QC management or supervisory experience preferred.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse work groups.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Hands-on approach with the ability to work directly in a manufacturing environment.Ability to operate a CMM.Experience using gages, micrometers, calipers, and other precision inspection equipment.Strong understanding of quality control processes, inspection procedures, and documentation.High-level understanding of FAA regulations.Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.Bachelor's degree is a plus.FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License or prior Repairman Certificate under FAR Part 65 is a plus.
