This is a direct hire position with fantastic benefits.We are committed to a safe working environment and seeking someone that appreciates and contributes to safety.Job Tasks:Operates site equipment (plant, warehouse, analytical laboratory)Perform computer functions in plant, office, lab equipmentPerform analytical testing of raw material and/or finished productCreate, follow procedures, work instructions, EH&S and Quality standardsQualifications (Education, Experience, Licensures, and Certifications):High School Diploma or G.E.D. post-secondary education required2 years' experience in industrial environment preferredMust be able to be forklift certified (company certifies on-the-job).Work Environment / Physical Demands / Travel:Work in 24/7 continuous operations, on 12-hour rotating shift schedule.Able to work in a non-climate controlled environmentStanding and walking continuouslyClimbing on and off a forklift frequentlyClimbing and descending stairs frequentlyLifts/carries 20 - 50 Lbs. frequentlyLifts/Carries 50 - 100 Lbs. occasionally with assistanceReaches above frequently, pushes/pulls occasionallyFine Manipulation occasionallyBenefits:Direct HireMedical, Dental, Vision, 401K (match up to 5%, plus an additional 3%, total 8%)Paid time offPay increases based on performance and skillsWork boot stipendUniforms and uniform laundry serviceAnnual Bonus eligibleTuition AssistanceAbout Asahi Kasei Plastics North America, Inc.Asahi Kasei Plastics is a leading manufacturer of innovative, high performance, engineered polymers and chemically coupled polypropylene resins in North America.
