Multi-Spindle Machine Operator 2nd ShiftOur client is a long-established, stable precision manufacturer in the Menomonee Falls area experiencing significant growth. They are adding people across their machining operations and creating opportunities for machinists at multiple skill levels, schedules and areas of expertise.This opportunity is for someone with experience operating or setting up multi-spindle lathes, automatic screw machines or similar high-volume bar-stock machining equipment. Whether your background calls them multi-spindles, screw machines or something else, we're interested in what you know and what you can do.The work may include:Set up and operate single- and multi-spindle machining equipmentMachine precision components from metal bar stockRead blueprints, job orders and tooling instructionsInstall and adjust collets, bushings, cams, gears, stops and toolingSet or adjust speeds, feeds and machine controlsInspect first pieces and production parts to specificationsReplace and maintain cutting toolsTroubleshoot and adjust equipment to keep production running safely and effectivelyOur client is looking for people who are mechanically inclined, comfortable around machining equipment and interested in developing their skills. Previous multi-spindle or automatic screw machine experience is especially valuable, but related machining and manufacturing experience may also be worth exploring.The company offers multiple schedules, overtime opportunities for those who want additional hours, continued skill development and room to take on greater responsibility as the operation grows.If you've worked with multi-spindle lathes, automatic screw machines, bar-stock machining, CNC or related machining equipment, we'd like to hear from you.
