Multifamily Maintenance Technician – $28–$30/hr – Hiring Now
Location: St. Paul, MN
Pay: $28–$30/hour (DOE)

Career Strategies is actively hiring a skilled Multifamily Maintenance Technician for a full-time opportunity in St. Paul, MN . We are seeking an experienced, dependable maintenance professional who can confidently handle work orders, apartment turns, preventative maintenance, and general building repairs.

Responsibilities
Complete maintenance requests and daily work orders
Perform apartment turns and make-ready work for incoming
Troubleshoot and repair plumbing issues, including faucets, toilets, drains, disposals, and leaks
Complete basic electrical repairs involving outlets, switches, fixtures, and lighting
Diagnose and repair common household appliances
Perform drywall repair, patching, painting, and touch-ups
Assist with HVAC troubleshooting and routine maintenance
Conduct preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment
Inspect vacant apartments and ensure units are move-in ready
Maintain common areas, amenities, and overall property appearance
Identify potential maintenance and safety concerns
Communicate professionally with and property management staff
Follow company safety procedures and maintenance standards
Qualifications
1+ year of apartment, multifamily, residential, facilities, or property maintenance experience
Strong general maintenance and troubleshooting skills
Experience with plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and appliance repair
Apartment turn and make-ready experience
Ability to complete work orders independently and efficiently
Strong problem-solving and time-management skills
Professional communication and customer service skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical maintenance duties throughout the shift
Dependable transportation required
EPA Certification or HVAC experience is a plus
