Job description
The Louisiana Department of Public Safety & Corrections - Corrections Services seeks a Museum Director for the Louisiana State Penitentiary Museum, the state's only prison museum. You will lead daily operations, security, tours, and public relations, while guiding fundraising and special events.
As liaison to DPS&C and the museum board, you will coordinate with statewide organizations and educational partners, manage staff, and ensure professional, safe, and engaging visitor experiences.
