Job Description Job Description The part-time Worship Leader works directly with the pastor to provide a ministry that draws people closer to Christ and strengthens fellowship, supporting the church's vision of helping people grow to love Jesus and each other. As the guiding voice and creative heart behind blended worship services, this role leads one weekly service along with special events and services, inspiring the choir, bell choir, musicians, volunteers, and congregation to worship in spirit and truth. The position requires professionalism, discretion, organization, adaptability, and a vibrant, grace-based faith in Christ.
Responsibilities
Plan and coordinate music for one weekly worship service and special events and services.
Direct the choir and bell choir through weekly rehearsals and worship participation.
Lead the congregation in meaningful, Christ-centered blended worship experiences.
Select music that supports worship themes, encourages participation, and deepens faith.
Coordinate rehearsals, service preparation, musicians, and volunteers.
Support existing musicians and volunteers while recruiting and developing new members through a shared leadership model.
Collaborate with the pastor on worship planning and ministry goals.
Provide administrative support with professionalism, discretion, organization, and adaptability.
Preferred Qualifications
Two or more years of worship leadership experience.
