Job description
One day of Orientation, prior to first date of coverage.
One-Two days of Proctoring, prior to first date of coverage.
7 on / 7 off
Orientation rate: flat rate of $500.00 for 4 hours or less of orientation. For orientations that go longer than 4 hours, the flat rate will be $1,000.
oCase Logs (Required Previous Experience):
All applicants must be able to demonstrate that he or she has provided inpatient or consultative services for at least 24 patients in the past 12 months and documented in that time he or she has had the following minimal endoscopic experience within the past 12 months:
D. Nonvariceal hemostasis (upper and lower): 10 active bleeders and total of 20 procedures
E. Variceal hemostasis: 5 active bleeders and a total of 15 procedures
oEMR and Dictation Tools:
EPIC/Dragon
oRequired experience, training, and certifications:
BC/BE
BLS
oConsider IMLC or waiting for a license:
MI license only due to timeframe
oCredentialing Timeframe:
Typically 30 days, but applications are prioritized according to start date

B. Total Colonoscopy: 100 Procedures
C. Snare polypectomy: 20 Procedures
D. Nonvariceal hemostasis (upper and lower): 10 active bleeders and total of 20 procedures
E. Variceal hemostasis: 5 active bleeders and a total of 15 procedures
oEMR and Dictation Tools:
