Position Overview:
The National Account Manager, C-Store (Northwest/West), is responsible for a group of key national accounts and channel distributors. The National Account Manager is responsible for the growth and development of a specific group of customers in his/her respective market and will be accountable for attaining revenue and profitability targets through collaborative relationships built on the exchange of category and product information, consumer insights, and profitability. The position will be charged with fully understanding the national chains' needs in marketing, support, as well as operations and category performance. The National Account Manager will author the selling strategy and tactical plans for the accounts. Success in the role requires strong communication, marketing and analytical skills, as well as maturity.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the business development and sales within a group of national accounts
Develop impactful professional relationships at all levels of the 5-hour ENERGY® organization, as well as the customers' organizations
Develop strong broker network alignment and performance
Make significant contributions to the marketing plans for the accounts Identify opportunities to improve processes and apply best practices Help identify, test and develop future products and packaging
Provide routine performance reporting, channel and account analyses Work with broker network on select accounts
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Minimum of five years C-store selling experience (preferably at national account level)
Impactful listening, speaking, writing and selling skills
Knowledge of sales contracts with the ability to negotiate terms
Excellent prioritization and organization skills
Highly effective in independent-work roles Energized by others, collaborative
Strong analytical and computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Nielsen/IRI software)
Up to 50% travel based on home location
