Overview
nA Shelf Mechanic is responsible for various mechanical maintenance and repairs on offshore facilities.
nResponsibilities
nnOperate offshore production facility in accordance with customer requirements.
nTest, calibrate, maintain, and inspect equipment.
nPerform mandatory paperwork required by customer and government agencies.
nMaintain and troubleshoot turbine compressors, generators, gas/diesel generators, compressors, and reciprocating equipment (pumps, compressors, etc.).
nUtilize computer knowledge for maintenance tasks.
nFamiliarity with subsea equipment.
nMaintain platform organization.
nExhibit excellent interpersonal communication skills in a team environment.
nSafety-oriented with a focus on compliance.
nCreate policies and procedures for maintenance, testing, and inspections of offshore lifeboats.
nApply technical mechanical skills for maintenance tasks.
n nQualifications
nnHigh school diploma or equivalent.
n5+ years of mechanic experience, preferably offshore.
